ÁNGEL DE CHIQUILLA VERDE


En el mar, en la estrella, en la raíz.
En las pupilas y los senos verdes.
En la pena verde
que el martillo del dolor no madura.
En el hierro tierno donde el fuego se ahoga,
y en el pozo antiguo, y en el agua verde,
larga y sin espinas,
late en perpetua gestación un ángel.

No te exasperes como el diente clavado
en un fruto verde, porque seas verde:
teme, teme el aliento del verano
que te ha de abrir los cálidos veneros,
que te ha de dar dulzor como a las frutas
porque esa fiebre matará a tu ángel,
tu dulce ángel de chiquilla verde...
